Sump pumps have come a long way over the past few decades! Today, sump pumps are more reliable, effective, and long-lasting than ever!
However, old habits tend to die hard! There's still a lot of outdated, ineffective systems being offered in the waterproofing industry. Poorly designed sump pumps, such as plastic sump pumps, survive because of their low cost or effective marketing -- despite their repeated failure to maintain a dry basement.
At Basement Systems, we're proud to provide only the highest-quality, cast-iron Zoeller Sump Pumps for all of our basement systems.
At Basement Systems, we are not manufacturers of sump pump systems. This means that we're not obligated to use any particular system when we provide our basement waterproofing systems.
No two sump pumps are created equal! We've researched hundreds of different sump pump models over the years, searching every day for a system that we'd trust to uphold the Basement Systems reputation for quality -- and it just kept coming back to Zoeller. Simply put, they're the best sump pumps in the industry!
Here's just a few reasons that Basement Systems has chosen Zoeller Sump Pumps:
Zoeller sump pumps are among the most powerful pumps in the world! Each pump is pressure tested in the factory after assembly and includes and a corrosion-resistant powder-coated epoxy finish. There's no sheet metal parts to rust or corrode!
The Zoeller M53: ⅓ HP -- Discharges 2,220 Gallons/Hour
The Zoeller M98: ½ HP -- Discharges 3,900 Gallons/Hour
For extreme situations and/or unique circumstances more powerful sump pump models are also available.
Both the Zoeller M53 and Zoeller M98 are designed with a durable, cast-iron core construction.
When submerged in water during operation, this design will maximize heat dispersal from the motor -- which is a leading cause of sump pump failure.
Unlike many mass-produced sump pump models, the Zoeller pumps we use are designed with a single engine casing. This allows for additional heat dispersion.
Pumps that have a screen or filter on the intake often clog with debris over time. Our Zoeller pumps are screenless, and able to pump out ½" solids with ease.
A buoyant polypropylene float switch rests in a guided arm, preventing it from snagging in the "on" or "off" position within the sump pit. Unlike other float switches, this is a solid design (not hollow), allowing it to avoid filling with water and failing to operate.
With more than 20 years in the waterproofing business, Basement Systems has seen the best and worst in the business. We trust Zoeller to continue to provide us with the kind of quality that has helped us become the largest network of waterproofers in the world!
